The SoundTree High School Keyboard Lab Curriculum features resources for group piano instructional courses, specifically materials which allow you to incorporate technology into your musical classroom. The curriculum includes the Piano 101 (books 1 and 2), the Piano 101 Pop (books 1 and 2), the Piano 101 Level 1 and 2 (6-CD set), the Piano 101 Level 1 and 2 (6-GM set), the Teachers Handbook for Piano 101 (books 1 and 2), the Alfred's Essentials of Music Theory Complete, the Alfred's Music Tech Series (books 1-3), the Alfred's Music Tech Series Teachers Guide, and the Reproducible Worksheet Book. The Reproducible Worksheet Book contains Theory and Ear Training worksheets to correlate with each unit of Alfred's Basic Piano Library Group Piano Course, Books 1-4.

Additionally, 45 included lesson plans teach incorporating a GEC keyboard lab into the general music classroom setting. The lesson plans cover areas such as music fundamentals, composition, ear training, improvisation, listening skills, notation, and performance. These subjects are not presented in a specific order, providing the teacher flexibility based on the classroom set-up. Each individual lesson addresses the National Standards for Music Education and is organized in the following order: keyboard skills required, MENC national standards, objectives, materials, procedure, extensions, reproducible student handouts. A companion website to the books is provided, allowing you to download the MIDI and audio files mentioned in the lesson plans.
